Sunrise Kiwanis Club, Goldsboro NC

The golf tournament is scheduled for September 16^th.  Steve Mitchell reported that there are 20 sponsors and 6 teams as of today.  To be successful, the tournament needs 40 sponsors and 15-20 teams.  This is the last foundation fundraiser this year.

John Chance and Nancy Delia reported a successful AKTION club social last week with 30 members attending.

September 12^th-19^th is “Day of Caring” in Wayne County.  Sunrise Kiwanis plans to collect school supplies until the 19^th for local children and classrooms.

The Installation Banquet has been set for September 25^th at Pupetta’s on Center Street.  The affair will begin at 6:00 PM.  Each member will be responsible for their own meal/s and may order directly from the menu.  A cash bar will be provided.

Final donations for this year are:

                        Edgewood School                                      $300.00

Donna Martin and chuck Moore will attend the District Convention.  Donna will be taing the 3 Lt. Governors from EWHS Key Club.

Wilson Kiwanis Club was a guest today.

Elliott Futrell was at last able to pass Harpo to another unfortunate member today.  He will sit on Donna Martin’s desk for a while.
