Sunrise Kiwanis Club, Goldsboro NC

There are only 2 weeks left before the golf tournament.  Steve Mitchell reported that thus far we have 38 sponsors and 15 teams.  More teams are needed.  Volunteers need to be at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course by 12:00 on September 16^th.

The 2008-2009 Installation Banquet will be on the 25^th of September.

Donna Martin will host her Board of Directors dinner on September 10^th at Torero’s.

Both Eastern Wayne and CB Aycock Key Clubs will be meeting tomorrow.  Volunteers are needed to attend meetings.

The Wilson All American Club were guests today for an interclub.

Grant Nix, Nick Baker, Ricky Sheppard, and Matthew Baker from the EWHS Key Club were also our guest today.

Happy Birthday wishes go to Willie Ortiz, who celebrates on Friday and Mike Haney who turns 21 on Monday.

Kiwanis anniversaries are; Chuck Hand who has been a member for 4 years as of yesterday and John Haverkamp who has been with the club for 25 years on Sunday.

Our guest speaker today was form Edgewood School.
